For the first time in Thailand, Trisara is hosting an innovative movement retreat referred to as the WiseMotion Method to promote cognitive wellness for our guests.

Join us for our inaugural retreat guided by Dr. Hanna Poikonen.

Designed for curious movers, WiseMotion is created by Dr Hanna Poikonen, a neuroscientist by education and a dancer at heart.

The WiseMotion method is based on Dr Hanna’s 15 years of expertise in brain research and extensive experience in dance, martial arts and meditation. The approach incorporates guided improvisation, scientific knowledge, and interactive discussions.  

Dr Hanna holds a doctoral degree in the neuroscience of movement, dance and music from the University of Helsinki. She has also studied contemporary dance, martial arts and meditation across creative capitals like New York, Tokyo, Barcelona and Helsinki.

Along with her continuing brain research at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology on Cognitive and Social Neuroscience, Dr Hanna is also a researcher at the Örebro University Hospital in Sweden, focusing on creative movement, neuroscience and mental health.
